Basics worked with Healthsource RI to develop it’s Open Enrollment advertising campaign for 2015-16. The messaging appealed to both individuals signing up for health insurance, and small businesses looking to provide insurance to their employees. Basics created two separate campaigns for the different markets unified around the single concept of “best choice”.

Individual & Family Ad Campaign

We developed the “best choice” messaging for the “Individual and Family” campaign to appeal to the healthcare decision-makers within households, women. We selected female talent for radio ads and used images that conjured feelings of security and wellness. The look and feel was consistent across various media including print and digital ads, social media, and radio.

Small Business Ad Campaign

The “Small Business” campaign emphasized the “best choice” and it’s relationship to the Full Employee Choice model, offered exclusively by Healthsoure RI. The ads appealed to small business owners by reinforcing the idea of controlling costs and providing quality benefits to employees. The ads were consistent across various media including print and digital ads, social media, and radio.

Collateral Material

Basics also designed various collateral material to promote enrollment events and educate current members about their plans. The look and feel of the pieces was consistent with the new ad campaigns and Healthsoure RI’s existing brand.
